How long does it take you to get over being upset with your s/o?

My s/o seriously just was so rude to me for no reason. He yelled at me, had an attitude with me, for no reason. 
I told him I didn’t want to speak to him for a little while because of how he just spoke to me and he turned it around on me saying “I can’t believe you. You are so petty. What ever.” Which made it even worse. 
No apology for how he spoke to me, then me saying I didn’t wanna speak with him right now and then he gets mad basically treating me like it’s my fault ?

up to an hour. i used to be way more immature and take days to cool off but my bf and bffs slowly taught me that it wasn't actually productive and showed a lack of ability for healthy communication. now i usually just take a few minutes before i'm open to talk about what's wrong. instead of waiting until i'm completely over it i just watch my anger so i don't let my emotions take over.

Usually only about 10 minutes to an hour. He'll start being sweet to me, or trying to get me to laugh. I'm the type who yells immediately, I don't usually hold grudges, and neither does he, so it lets us get things over with quick. I always try to make sure he knows how it made me feel, though, so that he knows that whatever he said hurt me. And can hopefully not do it again in the future.

To me, that's a red flag. I wouldn't tolerate that kind of behavior in a relationship. Essentially it is a form of abuse. You either talk to me now, after both y'all have cooled off, or don't talk to me at all. There is no I'm not talking to you for a few days. Imo and people are going to disagree with me, but he shouldn't have talked down to you like that and what's the silent treatment supposed to do in a relationship? This seems to be more about having some sense of control, rather than being mature about the situation. But then again, to me it's childish and I choose not to handle issues in my relationship that way.

I got so mad at my husband one time I told him to pick up an extra shift at work so I didn’t have to look at him... he went and picked up 3 extra shifts 😂 didn’t see that asshole ❤️for two whole days... he only punished himself 💅🏻
But ya depending on the reason I can stay mad for a minute or mad for a couple of days... very rarely do I stay mad long 🤷🏻‍♀️

I refuse to go to bed angry with him. I know I couldn’t live with myself if the last thing I felt towards him was anger, and you never know what tomorrow brings. We always talk things through at night and end the night with I love you.

I hate the silent treatment... I think it’s really petty. 
We’ve only ever had a couple of REALLY bad arguments where we’ve slept on it, and then we both apologised to each other and we’re pretty much back to normal. 
Other than that, I’m not one to hold grudges and neither his he. So we give each other a little space to cool off and then we talk it out the same day.

It depends on what happened to even make me upset. I just walk away to cool off ,or when he apologizes if he did something to get me all upset.

We work it out before we go to bed. Neither of us likes to go to bed angry at each other and we've just adapted this way of doing things now.

Honestly it takes me a couple of days. But I have terrible moods, it doesn't even actually take that much for me to get upset. I don't treat him badly or ignore him, it just takes me a while to fully feel fine around him again.
