How are y’all dealing with these 1 year old tantrums??

My son will cry bloody cow if his food isn’t on time. He throws himself back and acts like a monster! I have come to my resolution of letting him cry/tantrum it out and not give him attention because it’s beyond frustrating. What are yall doing

I distract her. Toddlers are fairly easily distracted and on to the next thing. I'll pick her up and be silly/tickle and try to make her laugh to distract or read a book/start playing with one of her toys. Feeding a snack usually works too lol.

I ignore it. I find if I give him attention, he will continue to have his moment. Compared if I ignore it, he stops sooner.

Everyday at 6 we have one pretty much she lays on her belly and kicks her feet and cries. She wants me to hold her if her daddy isn’t home yet but i am trying to get her dinner ready so i just have to ignore it bc i have to get it done. So if her dad is late coming home it is a shit show lol

I ignore my daughter when she starts this stuff. I let her throw her fit and will go about my stuff and when she's done, I try to move on to something new so we don't have another episode of a tantrum all over again.

My daughters tantrums started super early in my opinion. Like around 9months and she loves to hit and throw things when she doesn’t get her way. I tell her NO hitting or No to whatever else she’s doing wrong and if she still acts up I put her in her crib close the door and leave her to cry it out. She tends to calm down once I leave her alone.
