Should I quit my job?

I’m immunocompromised , I live in a rural/small town that just got a case of coronavirus today. I can’t work from home, I work at a restaurant. I have work Wednesday but I really don’t want to go. I really can’t get this virus. They are only taking precautions they haven’t even suggested closing. Idk what to do.

I would talk to your boss and management. Perhaps they will allow you to hunker down at home and not effect you having to lose or quit your job. Illinois just closed all bars and restaurants, other than drive thrus, for the next two weeks. Maybe y'all's state will follow suit soon.

I wouldn’t quit just call in sick and hopefully by the time you have to work again places will be closed.

They closed all restaurants /cafés in my country. Maybe they will in there too. We also don't go to school and uni. Nothing works except supermarkets and pharmacies.

Don’t quit your job yet. Have a look around for another job and once you have a new job then quit. If you are healthy you will be ok for the time being
