Baby shower during pandemic??

Soooo.. I can understand people postponing weddings and receptions. But what’s a girl to do for a baby shower? I have a shower planned for the 11th of April and now scared people might not show! Please bare in mind that my party is under 50 people. Do we celebrate after we give birth? What’s everyone else doing 😂

We are canceling mine. Was thinking about doing an online one but don’t think hardly anyone would participate anyway, so we are just ditching the idea altogether. I sent my mom a list of the absolutely essential things we need (which isn’t much as this is our third baby) so she can send that list to people who ask about any gifts for the baby.

Mine was scheduled for the 11th April and due to the outbreak of this virus I cancelled it totally soI dont plan on having any at all...Instead i am planning a christening get together

Mine was April 11th too and my state just banned restaurants which of course mine was scheduled at a brewery. So My state canceled it for me.

We pushed ours to May 9 and will delay further if any other dates happen to open. As of now just waiting to see how this all plays out and praying we can still do it! I know others mentioned sip and see but I am really hoping to avoid that and want to get everything situated before little man arrives!
When we do send out invites I plan on including a note about not attending if sick or at high risk

At the country club where my shower was being held, they cancelled the event on us. It's for the best and everyone's safety for now, however idk when it could possibly be rescheduled to.

My baby shower is scheduled for April 26th. The venue we are having it hasn’t cancelled it and we’ve had some RSVP already. We only invited 30 people so it wasn’t big to begin with. As of right now, we are not cancelling. We’re going to hold off and see where things go until then. If we have to cancel, we’ll let everyone know they can still send gifts if they would like and possibly do a small gathering after the baby, but I’m talking 3-6 months after the baby. Both my fiancé and I are officially out of work and extremely strapped with money so we are struggling to get what we need for the baby. We are really hoping things calm down so we can go back to normal!
