I haven’t heard this. I saw that 9 pregnant women in China came down with it and they monitored them and they were okay. Of course everyone’s different and we should be cautious. 🙏🏻

One of the complications is pneumonia - obviously not for everyone, but if that happens to you and you're pregnant, it will be devastating. Obviously fever could be catastrophic in early pregnancy. Having said that, isolating for 3 months but not closing schools and nurseries? Sounds pointless. I'm 6 months pregnant, we've just taken my toddler out of nursery. Better safe than the other option which I can barely think about.

He’s doing this out of a “better safe than sorry” stance. They don’t know the effect of corona virus on pregnancy yet so he would rather quarantine pregnant women to prevent a disaster later, than not quarantine and have a potential zika virus effect and everyone then blame them for not protecting pregnant women. I think it’s a sensible move.
