BV for the first time!!

I have bv and should start antibiotics and the cream once my period finishes.(I've been to the gyno few days ago) So my question is do you ladies have a burn when you have BV? Or is this a UTI? Because it's not constant and it's not a strong urge to pee or anything. Just burns. I've had uti before and it was so intense I immediately know it was a uti. This is much different!!! I never had bv in my life so idk how it feels!! Help a girl out!
