If she only has a blue pump this is probably not relevant to her. They are talking about preventers that you use daily (brown) I have a pink one I have to take twice a day even if I feel fine. I have the blue (reliever) for when i feel worse and carry it always. If she only has a blue one (reliever) and no preventer I wouldn’t worry but would always have it on you/her. Or worst cast get her to have two puffs in the morning and two at night. Also order another from pharmacy so you have a spare in case it runs out (check use by date too)

Check with her doctor first. I'd just say keep inhaler with her at all times and a spacer to make sure she gets full dosage if/when she does need to use it. I'd worry that if people use it when they dont need it they'll run out faster, and pharmacies might run out of stock. My mam is asthmatic and uses daily, she had to call the pharmacy ahead if time to get her inhaler because they didn't have any in already.

My daughter has both brown and blue. Takes her preventer (brown) morning and night only has to take blue (reliever) when it starts up
