Bulging down below

Hi ladies

Any 2nd time preggos? Or 3rd,4th etc. I am 28wks with my 2nd pregnancy. I'm freaking out a little bit as I noticed when I go to the toilet - especially if sitting for a while doing a #2 - that my vagina (around the opening mostly) is bulging on the left hand side. I actually could push it back up last night when this happened. Nothing is coming out, it just feels very swollen like a bulging mass. Dr Google has convinced me that this is a uterine collapse. Has anyone else experienced this happening to them? Or actually had a uterine collapse. I'm panicking about labour now - basically turning inside out whilst giving birth vaginally and wondering if c section is safer. I have left a message for my midwife.
