I heard and saw it at my 7week appointment.

7 weeks 3 days at the doctor's and 9 weeks at home with a doppler.

My OB advises not to Doppler the baby until the 2nd trimester because it causes the fetus body temp to rise and she doesnt find it necessary to check until later. But does do an ultrasound around 6-8 weeks that we can see the heartbeat.
