I’m posting here because I’m not sure what group this should go in.

My maternal side of the family is Native American, some Mongolian, and Eastern European. Years ago, my grandmother told me about how she went to a family reunion, which conversations were shared about not having much body hair, especially among the women. Apparently, my grandma has never had armpit, pubic, and leg hair. My mother has very little leg hair, as do I. I can go MONTHS without shaving my legs, and they are still very smooth. My armpit hair is minimal too, at least it takes awhile to get to a certain length.

Is this common among Native American tribes? According to my grandma, our family is Iroquois, Susquehannock, Cherokee, and Mohawk. Anyone have an idea?
