After how many ounces do you burp your baby?

I want to burp my baby girl after 2 oz, but she gets so upset when I take the bottle away from her in the middle of feeding. She eats about 4 oz. How often do you burp your babies? Is it still necessary to burp often at this age?

I don’t burp her anymore but sometimes I notice she gets uncomfortable and I pick her up and try and burp her, sometimes she will.

My son too gets super upset when I take the bottle away after 2 oz to burp him. Now I burp him after he finishes it 4-5oz) or when he starts pushing it away and crying, means he’s uncomfortable needs to be burped before continuing with the feed. Point it, I follow his lead :)

My daughter is 4 months old and we don’t really stop to burp her anymore. She takes about 4oz. At a time and seems to burp on her own when she needs to.

I still burp mine after about 2-3 oz. He eats 5oz usually. Sometimes he gets upset when I take the bottle away too lol, but I find that he spits up if I can’t get a burp out of him midway through his feed.

My son will eat almost a whole 8oz bottle before burping. If we try before that he lets us know he’s super upset. He gives us the wiggle signal and we know it’s time. We take the bottle out, sit him straighter and he just lets it rip! Sometimes it’s a little wet, he’s a spitty up baby, but we don’t worry. He’s eating and it doesn’t bother him.
