You’re allowed to have feelings. Everyone gets a little unsure of themselves sometimes. Everyone! I think it’s understandable to feel like your partner is having fun with others but not you. You two may just have a difference sense of humor than one another. Which is okay. You’re telling him how you feel which is good, but just listen to what he is telling you.

You have a right to be upset and express that to him. He also has a right to not always laugh around you, maybe he laughs more with his friends cuz it’s forced and be doesn’t want to offend them, but is comfortable enough around you not to pretend? Maybe you just have different senses of humor and that’s fine. My boyfriend doesn’t find everything I think funny funny and I don’t agree with everything he finds funny either and that’s fine. If this is something really bothering you don’t keep it bottled up, but if it’s really not a big deal when you thing about it then just move on.

Sounds like a silly thing to argue about honestly. & being a female has nothing to do with hormones.
Find things that are mutually funny, watch something together, ask questions, get to know that side of one another more. Instead of complaining that his friends are somehow funnier than you. 
Humor is subjective. You won’t always agree what’s funny but it shouldn’t be a reason your feelings are hurt.
