Induction tomorrow!
Despite thinking baby was going to come early, we’ve made it to our induction date! We go in tomorrow at 8PM, so baby will be born on the 21st💛

This will mean the absolute world to me as it will also be my mom’s birthday, who I unexpectedly lost to a massive brain hemorrhage this last thanksgiving—she was only 43 + SO full of life.
•
She was the BEST Grammie to my 2 year old, (the one grandparent that has that extra special, magical connection with your kids out of all the others if you know what I mean), and she was so excited to meet her second grand baby. And was even more excited for the chance that they could share a birthday!!

As miserably uncomfortable as I am so pregnant, I’m elated to be able to have my daughter share a birthday with my mom, and can’t think of a better way to honor her—I know she’s probably smiling so big in Heaven about it all.
•
Just had to share this sliver of joy and positivity amongst all the other feelings of uncertainty and frustration from having to deliver during this crazy virus.

Side note: any mamas who have had an evening induction before have any tips?? I’ll be reviving a foley bulb and this is my second baby. Would love any advice or tips you may have as I’m starting to feel anxious and a little nervous 🙈
