Do you get 3D pics of the baby? I’ve seen a lot of people get 3/4D pics of baby at this appt. is that normal or does it depend on the dr office?

Supposed to go to Maternal Fetal specialist April 2nd for my anatomy scan so will find out then. When I went to them when I was pregnant with my son they had the ability but only used it to check on possible abnormalities seen on 2D scans like possible cleft lips or heart defects. So we didn’t get one with our son. Kinda hoping they loosened up their criteria in the last 8 years. We had an elective 3D/4D scan at 14 weeks and can’t wait to see her again. If my maternal fetal specialist doesn’t do one we can go back to the elective place for $60 and get the same package instead of the full price of $120.

Depends on the office. My insurance required I go to the hospital for mine and they don’t have that technology but my doctor office does, so I didn’t get one

I think it depends on your clinic. I got 4d pics during my 10w ultrasound, but my friend at a different clinic didn’t get any at her appointments including her 20w ultrasound.

My office has brand new machines and we get everything sent to us digitally to print on our own. I get 4d ultrasounds at every visit.

I had mine today and they didn’t do 4d anything ☹️ all I got were two lame 2d pictures. 😭😭😭 prob gonna get a private ultrasound done soon.

My office doesn’t do them. You just get a print out of the regular ultrasound. Im sure it depends on the office and what equipment they have

Mine were included with mine this time and i didn't have to pay extra. But it does depend on where you ob is, my first baby i didn't even get print outs of my ultrasounds because their machine was so old it didn't do that, and when i went to the hospital for my anatomy scan i didn't get any 3d/4d.
Here's one from my scan a couple days ago, definitely want to pay for more when bb has a little more fat on her!
