Saying Goodbye

Two days ago (at 10weeks 4 days) I posted that on Monday night I started to have a light amount of brown discharge and light abdominal cramping and on Tuesday the cramping had seemed a little more consistent along with the discharge becoming a little more heavy (still just when I wiped though) but still brown. This morning I woke up to moderate and consistent cramping but the discharge had turned red. By the time I got to the ER the discharge turned very heavy. After a very uncomfortable vaginal ultrasound sound that lasted an hour and other testing the ER doctor confirmed I was having a miscarriage. I was supposed to be 10weeks and 6 days but they confirmed the baby passed at 6 weeks. This is my 4th pregnancy and all my prior ones were completely healthy. I had never expected this. I’ll get through it one day at a time though.
