My IUD fell out

My IUD legit just fell out of me the other day. It was alarming, but I’m not mad. We were wanting to start TTC anyway so I guess this saves me a trip to the doctor 😂

I didn’t have a period the whole 6 months I had the IUD, so I don’t know when my period is supposed to come. Today I start bleeding, it’s not heavy like a period but it’s heavier than spotting. Do you think it’s my period or just irritation bleeding or something?

I ask because we had unprotected sex the day before it fell out. I’m wondering if I could get pregnant from that or if this is my period signaling that I’m not pregnant?
