Will Doctors Induce?

Has anyone's doctor induced them or has scheduled an early induction due to the craziness happening because of the fear of not having enough beds and or equipment later on possibly?

Doctors can not and will not induce before 39 weeks without a medical reason

No. What equipment exactly will a COVID-19 person need from a labor and delivery floor? Do they need epidurals, forceps, peri bottles, fetal monitors?

I asked my obgyn about this... as COVID is a respiratory virus, she said the absolute safest place for the baby is inside you where they are not yet using their lungs! So she said our goal is to keep that baby in there as long as they want to be!

Nope. Mine just said today that if I don't go into labor naturally by 40½ weeks, they'll schedule induction for 41 weeks. So far no change at least.

Mine is not inducing “early” but she is planning for induction to get baby out and home before our numbers grow in our city.
