Hey ladies, what’s your experience with the Kyleena IUD? I’ve never been on any type birth control, not even for issues with period/acne. But since I’m gonna get married in five months, I need birth control that will help me to not have any babies until we are ready 🙅🏻‍♀️ My doctor recommended the Kyleena IUD for me, since I’m horrible at remembering pills at the right time every day. I’ve been watching reviews on YouTube that severe cystic acne is a common issue... I really don’t want this to happen because I suffered HORRIBLE acne from ages 12-20... I’m 22 now. I finally got rid of severe acne (it’s still mild now but bearable). I would literally cry every day and lock myself in my room because it was so bad. I don’t want to go through that again. Basically my questions are:

1. Has the Kyleena been effective for you as far as preventing pregnancy?

2. How do you stay assured that you aren’t pregnant when the IUD stops bleeding?

3. Did you suffer from acne? If so, did you find a way to manage it? I am prone to hormonal breakouts - never fails, I break out 1-2 days before my period every month.
