10 Day Period: HELP

My started March 10th and it’s still going. It’s been a consistently moderately flow. The first 7 days I had SEVERE cramps, which is unusual. My usual period only lasts 4-5 days, with the last day being extremely light.

I called my doctor and she had me take a pregnancy test to rule out tubal pregnancy/miscarriage. It was negative ( I haven’t had unprotected sex anyways).

Since the test was negative, she said that what happening is probably non life threatening so she won’t be able to see me until this pandemic is over.

I guess I’ll just bleed out for the next few months. Any ideas what’s happening or similar stories?
