Even if it’s not pronounced perfectly but used consistently for a specific purpose and understood by immediate family to mean a specific word (eg saying “da” for car)

Jax says hi, dada, mama, up, ow, away and mad. He definitely doesn’t talk as much as my daughter did at this age but he enthusiastically “talks” a whole bunch of stuff we don’t understand 😂 we’ll be in for it when we can finally understand him. He never shuts up already!

Lol. June says so so much. Mama, dada, nanny, help, more, thank you, I don’t know, yeah, no, up, out, all through the town (she repeats those lyrics over and over 😂), back (back up), bye bye, night night, Maggie (her sister), please, grapes, milk, yo yo (yogurt), jump, excuse me, poo poo, eyes, ears, nose, hair, mouth, cheeks, cup, and bubble guppies. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head, but I’m sure there’s more. Of course all these she doesn’t say perfectly. She says them about how you’d expect a baby to say them, but she definitely talks my head off! 😂

My daughter will say hey, da da, ma ma, creek (our dog’s name), and yay. She loves to talk even though most of the time you can’t understand her lol. I want to say my son was talking more than this. But you can’t compare kids to each other some just needs time
