I'm happy to find this bay area group because I'm also in the bay. I know that there are lots of crazy things going on in the world right now, but on top of that, I was recently diagnosed with autoimmune hyperthyroidism and Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome --both autoimmune conditions. None of these autoimmune conditions have had any symptoms, so I had no idea until I had to do blood tests after having two early miscarriages. They confirmed that the miscarriages were likely due to my autoimmune conditions. I have long road ahead, but am still hopeful that after stabilizing the hyperthyroidism, things will get better. I'm 37 years old and am just looking for some similar experiences from others and/or some more hopefulness.
