Menstrual cup leaking?

I've used my cup for a while but its just started leaking a lot recently but i don't know if my flows just got heavier. I've had to start wearing pads at the same time which is annoying because i like the eco side of the cups as well. Anyone else experienced this?

This happened to me a couple times but I found out it was because I wasn’t fully expanding to seal the space

How full is your cup when you empty? It could be overfilling. Or if it's not that full. It's possible the cup is either not open fully or your cervix is hovering half way over the rim of the cup. 
Also, there are cloth pads you can buy as backup if you prefer not to use disposable. They're super easy to care for as well.
