Pregnancy or miscarriage??

Hi guys, I’m 12 days late on my period. Have taken many pregnancy tests and they were all negative. Last night I had severe cramping and this morning as well. I thought I was gonna start but the only thing I’ve had has been brown discharge. 
I took 2 tests today. Digital said not pregnant but the dye one is confusing. Could this be a miscarriage or possible pregnancy?

Your not pregnant. Its just a period

I hate that brand of pregnancy tests. I took one a few months ago and it looked like a faint positive. And then I took a digital one and it said negative. I was so upset! And then I started my period like the day after. I was told once that if you have blood in your urine it may come out as a false positive in the dye tests. So that’s what I chalked it up to be. Good luck
