What is a normal amount of time for a S/O to spend glues to his PlayStation?

My husband plays for an hour or two after work each day and occasionally on the weekend he’ll play for the majority of the day. I don’t mind it one bit. It’s his hobby and he enjoys it. He helps plenty around the house, schedules date nights, and works hard.

I go through phases. I’ll spend 4 hours a day playing (so almost 30 hours a week) for a couple weeks straight, then go a month without playing at all. I don’t understand why people hate on video games so much, they’re just a hobby. The vast majority of the time, the person getting upset is just clingy and needs their own hobby.

He never plays it when I’m around. Usually Saturday morning he’s up before me and maybe after work before I’m home. Not even close to every day though, he could go weeks without playing then get into it for like a day

We used to game 2-3 hours to wind down, on the weekend maybe 4 hours but now we pick up our consoles maybe once every other weekend.
