Hypnobirthing. Anyone else interested?

I'm really hoping to have a hypnobirthing experience.  Has anyone gone through one or are contemplating it?  Are you all dead set on medication during labor?  No judgement either way just curious.  Again, I'd like to have a medication free birth but I'm a FTM and have no idea how painful labor will be.

I didn’t use hypnobirthing but did have a med free birth with my first!im sure some of the techniques we were taught in my birth class were from this method! I just really focused on breathing deeply and focusing on the “wave” of the contraction. I also took it one contraction at a time and had a bunch of pain relief techniques that I could cycle through. Med free birth is painful but if you get yourself in the right mindset you can do it!

I just did hypnobirthing classes and LOVED it! You will learn so much from it! I highly recommend the classes and then you can decide what’s best for you. I had a medicated birth with my first one but this time plan on going natural, unless, emergency csection needs to happen. I didn’t know very much with my first kiddo but this time have gained more knowledge and am aware of all the options I have. At the end of the day, epidural or natural birth, whatever gets that baby here safe and sound and mamma is okay, that’s all that matters! ❤️

Med free with my first, no pain relief with my second (induced with pitocin) and this time i'm planning on allll the meds. My oldest was practically painless, my second was horrible because i developed SPD and pitocin contractions were worse than i'd imagined. This time baby is positioned diagonally so i'm not even sure if i'll be able to have her vaginally, but i know if i do it'll be even worse than either of my other girls since they were positioned perfectly. Not to mention the SPD is worse this time around too 😓
