Nursing strike or something else?

My almost 10 week old is refusing to nurse unless she’s already in a deep sleep and take her pacifier out. Shes super gassy and fussy because she takes in a lot of air when she feeds so I don’t know if it’s because of a lip tie, my overactive letdown or both? Also, she’s fussy on and off right now while my husband is giving her a bottle. I don’t know what to do but I’m so frustrated...
Please help if you have any suggestions!

this was us last week! was awful. today she was like a new baby! she will be 11 weeks on thursday

Exact same thing happened with my son during this time frame. Almost 10 weeks. It passed after 2-3 days. I have no idea why. But I tried not to get frustrated and just let him take the lead. It will pass mama!

Hi! This happened with me a couple of weeks ago! So exhausting and frustrating! What really helped for me was just forcing myself into a place of calm and “having no expectations” each time we nursed. I played with him, just held him skin to skin against my chest, encouraged him to eat more once he latched, but didn’t force him to eat very long if he didnt want to. I also unlatched him briefly after each letdown to help with my overactive supply/fast milk. It took about three days but we finally got past the strike. Also tried to not give him any bottles during that time. Good luck!

I am also going through this with my 10 week baby girl. She is so fussy and is not nursing as much as before. She started eating a bit more today but i have noticed she has a lot of gas and sometimes poops when she passes gas.
