Am a first time mom. When to start packing and what do you need in hospital bag. Please help am almost 30 weeks pregnant 🙏🙏😍

Don't over pack. I followed a Pinterest list and didn't use half of it.

• birth plan (my hospital asked for us to submit one before hand as well as bring a copy)

• shoes (slippers, shower shoes, and sneakers is what I brought)

Leggings that go over your belly or a belly band is a must. After you give birth it feels like your stomach is falling out of you so you need some support for it. Sorry kind of hard to explain.

I ate my snacks I packed so that’s a must. 
And a baby going home outfit.

Don't forget stool softener and pain medication!!! Unless you want to be charged for it at the hospital, pack your own!!

I used my sweats, t shirt, hair tie, and coat (because it was cold here). I wished I had brought a hair brush. And I used one outfit for baby. That's it. The hospital provided the rest and I was too distracted by my new baby and the pain of recovery that I couldn't have cared less about anything I didn't need

I brought my own labor gown and was very happy I did. When you are going through the ordeal there is something about being in a gown that’s not army green and worn by sweaty women before. 😂 plus my husband took it home and washed it so I could wear it the second day as well. Just make sure it has straps that unbutton as well as snaps up the back.
