Will OBGYN offices stay open?

Has anyone had this conversation with their doctor..
I still haven’t had my first appointment.

Yes. Prenatal care is vital and considered necessary. Unfortunately, be prepared for them to tell you no one can come with you including your spouse/partner. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow and I was told to come alone 🙁

Mine is staying open but only for certain patients. They announced on Thursday they will be canceling all appointments with the exception of those who are high risk and in late pregnancy (35 weeks or greater). That being said, all appointments are to be attended alone. They also are having you call and check in when you get in the parking lot. Then they are coming to your vehicle for temp test. Once cleared from there they are taking you back to rooms.

Mine is. We just have a mandatory sanitation station before entering and we are not allowed guests. If we have ANY symptoms of anything they are rescheduling unless you have a recent dr note stating you are not contagious and should be allowed to be seen. Hell I had to get a doctors note to give to another doctor saying I had severe seasonal allergies so I could be seen for a completely torn ligament in my ankle. I dead ass can’t walk with out a medical boot and I had to get a dr note to be seen for my ankle.

I'm 6 weeks and 6d and having my 1st ultrasound tomorrow afternoon , they asked not to come if I have the virus symptoms which I dont but I didnt think that my husband could be refused to enter 😥 
I'm in FL. I'm from France so I know that there, for any reason nobody can be a visitor in hospitals, but I didnt think about doctor visits here .

I was supposed to have my anatomy scan March 30th at 21w and was called and told it had to be rescheduled to April 22nd. Not very happy about that. Haven’t had an ultrasound since 8w. 😞 I have a regular OB appointment April 3rd. Haven’t gotten a call to reschedule that yet... Hopefully I don’t 🤞🏻

I’m in Texas but am high risk and am 29 weeks pregnant.  I went in last week to my regular obgyn appt and high risk dr.  It was at the hospital and before I entered the office I had to answer some questions and get my vitals and temperature taken before they’d let me in.  They also weren’t allowing any guests to join.  My next appt is still scheduled for 3-4 weeks away so quality of care isn’t changing.

Mine said she is staying open until she is forced to close and then we will move appointments/updates to online.
I am in my 3rd trimester and my doc is wanting me to go to the clinic I got my 1st and 2nd anatomy sonograms at to geyt measured and checked one more time. However they said they might not take me unless 100% necessary. My baby has only been measured once and I had extra fluid then, so I am nervous they will refuse even though my doctor says it is necessary.

My doctors office in Ohio moved my appointment two weeks because Ill be in third trimester by then. And I guess they’re prioritizing 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just went and seen my ob last week they are already taking precautions. They are open till 1 PM and they say only 1 person can come or just you. Also said it might change to being closed all depends on what happens. Said it is pretty much a day by day thing. Which sucks for us pregnant women that's for sure.

I am a nurse and what we have implemented is canceling all un necessary or routine visits. We are also doing most of our visits via phone calls. We need patients to come get labs drawn but we also are spacing out time slots and pushing appointments out further than normal. Rather than typical 4 weeks out we are moving them out 6 weeks. If there are problems or concerns we do ask patients to call first and then come in if necessary.
