Perineal massage from 34 weeks? 😬

Ftm, and reached 34 weeks this weekend. The ladies in my yoga group were chatting about this last week.
Wondering how many ladies have done it, plan to, or found it didn't help 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn't do that with my first but I also didn't have tearing. Just a positive story for you.

Did it with my first from a pretty early point in my pregnancy because my OB (at the time) suggested it if I didn’t want to rip. I did it nightly with vitamin e oil and everything. I ripped while pushing my daughter out anyway and had to get stitches. So in my opinion it happened to not help.
