My baby is 10 days old and my boyfriend does not help take care of her. All he does is play videos games, go on his phone and sleep. Even at the hospital the nurses talked about how he slept while I did everything and got no sleep even though I gave birth and had surgery. He holds her twice a day and doesn't even pay attention when he does because he's always on his phone. I have to remind him to watch her while holding her because he gets so into his phone. He changes probably 2 diapers because I ASK him. We are supposed to have shifts at night, him 12 to 430 and me 5 to the rest of the morning but I'm always awake during his shift because he cant get her to sleep without me (even though I pump milk for him to feed her)so I'm up all night while he gets to sleep the mornings awat. I'm so frustrated. I've shared my concerns with him and he says he will do better and help but he's still doing the same thing. I feel like a single mother. He got 3 weeks paid time off from work and all hes done is play video games. Doesnt clean, doesnt cook and doesnt help take care of the baby. (Also, yes, it's his child.)
