No that’s so unnecessary. I always got up and peed and half the time showered after. Still got pregnant first month

It doesn’t hurt to do it for a few minutes (so long as you go to the bathroom right after  you do get up to help prevent a UTI), but it’s only beneficial if your partner’s sperm is of low quality or motility. Otherwise, the strongest and healthiest get up into the cervix within a few seconds.
