Confused about if it's my period or pregnancy

My period was due today but 2 days ago I begin to spot yesterday it wasn't enough to soak a pad but there was some there but mostly when I wipe. The color is red it's a very light not even a flow now but is light red. My cervix is still high it has been since I ovulated.
