Baby face turn beet red, holds breath, body goes rigid
Hi moms. Today I went to pick up my newborn and she stuck out her arms and became super rigid and turned beet red and it was clear she had stopped breathing. It scared the life out of me. I started patting her back and trying to soothe her and eventually she caught her breath and returned to normal. Has this ever happened to any of you and if so, did you talk to your pedi about it/what did they recommend? Thanks!
