Question

Who are still working and have to go home to their baby and are anxious AF of staying healthy for the little ones at home?
What precautions are you taking to stay safe from COVID19?? How old are your babies???

I work FT in a nursing home and change clothes/wash hands right when I walk through the door. I wash my hands frequently, always before I eat, and try to not touch my face. It’s very hard but this winter season I try to not kiss my kids except maybe on the top of the head or back of the neck. I’ve been taking elderberry this flu season and vitamin C occasionally. I’m as worried about coronavirus as I am the flu and norovirus which we get outbreaks (usually) yearly. I’m worried about the residents at my work cause many will die if it spreads through the building but we’re getting prepared. They take our temperature daily along with answering questions. We can’t be working if we’re sick and they restricted all visitors to limit the germs coming in the building. My mom and grandma watch my kids 3 days a week so I’m concerned about passing any germs to them. It worries me that symptoms don’t develop for days. That’s my huge concern.

My husbands job is essential since hes a maintenance worker a place where they produce food 
Im a stay at home mom since baby was born 
He disenfects his tools every day after his shift and since He wears a uniform too work so he takes it off and puts it in a bag when he gets off then when he gets home he dosnt touch anything and disenfects the door handel and takes a shower immediately then we go on with our nightly rutine as normal he also desenfects the car keys and the car door handels and stearing wheel when he gets out of the car

I’m essential. NP at a hospital. I wear a mask all day long. Obviously was my hands constantly and take a shower the minute I walk in the door. Taking extra vitamin c daily and just being cautious.

Husband's job is essential, he is working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. Has had to do it for a while now. Mostly we are just lonely. Trying to make this time special and less stressful as we can. Finding sending pictures of the little one having fun brightens our families days.

My husband starts work from home Monday. He is a lead for H&R Block’s Tech department and had to wait until all his team had their work from home supplies before he could start working from home full time. I’m still working part time because i am a city bus driver and we’re still needed. I work 4-9am two days a week and 8:30-5:00 one day a week. The rest of the time baby and I stay home. I shower as soon as I get home and change my clothes, hubby does the same. My work has been implementing a lot of things to try and keep us drivers safe and stop the spread of the virus as best they can, but I’m still anxious about it. We rely on my income too much for me to quit and we don’t qualify for paid leave unless we come into direct contact with the virus (confirmed case or have traveled to a risk country) or test positive, so I can’t stop working.

😓 me! I am afraid everyday that we could get it. CA’s mandated “stay home” orders don’t apply to either of our company’s because they’re both part of the critical infrastructures and we have local cases so this is hard to have peace of mind. I’m grateful for my job but this is unsettling

Yep I’m in insurance and essential. For whatever reason we still can’t work from home.  Have a 2.5 year old and 10 month old and I just wash my hands, not a whole lot more I can do😭 I just want to be at home with my babies

My husband has an essential job, he works at the post office. I work from home. Our daughter is 10 months. When he comes home we changes his clothes and washes his hands before he touches her or anyone/anything in the house except the door handle he had to use to get in.

My husbands job is essential. He is an assistant manager for walmart. I am a stay at home mom now. 
It worries him and I about him be exposed to so many people. He immediately washes his hands when he gets home and changes clothes/showers before he picks our son up. I think that is about all you can do really.
