So over a month ago I ordered custom made soaps for part of my baby shower hostess gifts. I told the lady making them that I needed them by March 18th at the latest (my first shower was scheduled for March 21st).

I texted her (her preferred form of communication) on March 15th to check the status of the order and tell her I could pick them up on March 17th (I have to travel over an hour to pick them up, and my husband and I have to share a vehicle, so it takes a little planning to go somewhere.)

Never heard anything back.

My shower was then canceled, so I decided I could pick them up on the 21st and texted her again plus messaged her on her business Facebook page. I made it clear that the 21st would be the last day I could make arrangements to come get them. At that point I still had showers scheduled for March 29th and April 3rd.

Still nothing.

As ticked off as that makes me, I guess it all works out. Since none of my showers are happening due to covid-19, I still have a cute, unique candle to give each would-be-hostess (which I ordered from someone else), and I saved about $100 not getting the soaps. Luckily I hadn’t paid her yet!

I truly don’t know what happened with this lady and my order. She has been posting on her business Facebook page multiple times a day since I have tried contacting her, and all of my messages say they were delivered, she just won’t get back to me. My MIL has ordered through her before, so I thought she would be reliable. Oh well 🤷‍♀️
