Preterm labor *update*

Around 1:30 AM I started having severe cramping. They hurt so bad I was crying and it was hard to breathe. I had a lot of pressure. Then came diarrhea & vomiting. It lasted for maybe 2 hours and I was alone 😔 after everything settled I was able to sleep but still had dull pain. My doctor had me come in today and my test came back positive for preterm labor. My cervix is closed but I have to go in tomorrow for a vaginal ultrasound to get a better look at my cervix. Has anyone experienced this? What should I expect? I’ll be 29 weeks tomorrow

Update: it was confirmed high risk for preterm labor. I’m getting medication to help his lungs if I have to give birth. And medication to stop the contractions. They went from irregular to regular and then back irregular. My cervix did open 2 cm & they confirmed that I did lose my mucus plug. I’ll be in the hospital for a few days being monitored. Recently got news that I’m now at medium risk so the magnesium is working. I still have to be monitored off magnesium to make sure. But baby is so strong. He’s having no complications.
