My 4 year old daughter just had a sleep study done and the results came in that she has sever sleep apnea. She stopped breathing 28 times (a little over 4 times an hour) while I was laying there the whole night watching her. I had no idea. I'm really struggling with the fact that I was laying there next to her and couldn't even tell. We had the test done because she has always been a big snorer and a couple of other people had mentioned maybe getting her tested because of it. I had thought it before but never talked to the doctor until other people mentioned it. Now we go to the doctor April 7th to determine if they want to do surgery to remove adenoids and tonsils. Her doctor said that would be the next steps but I'm sure the doc we see that day will actually decide what they want to do. This momma is a nervous wreck! Especially with all the Corona Virus stuff they are limiting only 1 person with a patient and I really don't like that. Hubby will definitely want to be there with her too and I don't want to be in the waiting room alone. 😔
