Epidural after emergency c section?

I had an emergency c section with my 2 year old daughter as the cord was prolapsed.. (happens in less than 1% of births) it was a big emergency and very scary. I’ve been really nervous about having another baby because of the trauma but 2 years after I’m pregnant again 😊 very excited, looking forward to meeting my little bean, I’ve thought about another c section and I’m still considering it. Just wanted to know of peoples experiences of giving birth after a c section? I’m NOT doing it with no pain relief. I know that 100%! Any experiences of epidural after c section? Thanks
