Just curious are people like electricians who work residential and commercial work considered essential workers ?

I’m asking bc I’ve looked and haven’t been able find if a company like that is still considered essential. It give a vague guide line but I was just curious to if any one else may have the answer. My husbands company is still working and said they are still working because they are essential . Which is great he can still work but I wasn’t sure if that was 100 percent correct bc the things I’ve read are so vague !
