Does anyone still nurse baby to sleep or comfort feed during the night?

Just out of curiousity. If so does your baby comfort nurse during the night and how often. I am having a hard time breaking the comfort nursing... she just wants it all through the night. She sleeps with me (dont judge, i follow the requirements and make sure it is safe always)
Is it normal for a 8 month old to still comfort feed so often?  
Lately she has been picky with her solid foods when she never use to be and im wondering if it could be because she is feeding through the night and isnt super hungry during the day. She is EBF btw. I do purees and BLW depending on the type of food i make :)

Yes. He sleeps in bed with me,  he has 7 teeth (crazy I know), and he nurses as he needs to. The idea that the will need it forever if they nurse to sleep is a myth. Our babies are 8 months old. They'll live at least 80 years. It's weird to me that so many people cut babies off like that when they're still so small. Just brush their teeth and let them nurse. It hardly bothers me when he nurses at night anyways since we're snuggled up in bed together.

Same 🙋🏻‍♀️ I nurse her to sleep every night and she sleeps in the bed with me and nurses off and on all night. I don’t even think she does it to eat, just comfort nurses herself back to sleep

If babe needs the breast to fall asleep babe is going to need the breast to maintain sleep. My LO goes down in his crib but when he wakes comes into bed with us and nurses. Lately he has been more squirmy so I try to put him back in bed when possible.

I cosleep too, I have with all 3, and my last snuggles over for boobs throughout the night. They all did.

Well not necessarily nurse because I’m not breastfeeding but he does depend on his bottle a little too much to sleep. Like he needs the bottle to go to sleep. The chupone doesn’t cut it for him

My baby started waking back up at night at 7 months but I take advantage since he really refuses formula during the day now that he’s eating solids. He only drinks milk before bed, during the night and in the morning. 😕

Sure do! It works for us and he’s been fed on demand since birth. He typically sleeps through the night now for the most part but is in a bit of a regression now that he’s figuring out crawling.

Once in a while if she wakes up and get fall back asleep I nurse her but so regularly sleeps 10 to 11hrs. She falls asleep on her own for naps and bedtime. I do nurse her at night, then read a story, then put her down for the night

No, I stopped nursing her to sleep at six months because she got more aware and would fuss when I tried to put her down after. It only took a few days for her to adjust to a new routine. 
She sleeps 12 hrs straight in her crib. Soooo worth it for us. Everyone is well rested and happy.

Yes 😭😭😭 it has gotten better slightly over the last couple of days and she will only wake up twice but for about a month when she was teething, she was waking up almost every 2-3h. She will be 9 months on the 3rd so i know she doesnt need to eat at night. 
My excuse to not sleep train was that im in school and if was just easier and quicker to put her on the boob since i needed to get up early but all of my classes are online now due to Covid 19 so i have no more excuses but im really struggling with it. Shes such a good baby and just wants her mama. Comfort nursing doesn’t bother me enough to stop it yet. But i do wish she would just stop doing it 😅
