I was an entirely different person when I was 18 vs the person I am now at almost 28. It’s not “BAD” per-say... but it is incredibly naive.

I mean I think it is pointless to get married that young but is it inherently a good or bad thing no. My suggestions for anyone to get married would be to be together for at least several years, live together before marriage, obvioualy have open communication and make sure your life goals are compatable, I also personally think being sexually active before marriage is a good thing but not a must for everyone. It is pretty hard or unlikely for those things to happen before you are 18 so IMO it often probably isn't the best decision to be married at 18. Like I said at the start of the comment it is pointless in the sense that if you are going to be together forever why would it matter to have a couple more years together before tying the knot maybe a long engagement instead?
