Eating out???

Are you guys eating out? What are the chances of catching the virus from takeout?? 
I haven’t eaten out yet because I’m scared but I’m sick of cooking already lol!

My husband and I get takeout and delivery all the time

I mean there is still a risk but some things you can do are use gloves (or wash hands after) when opening everything up, throw away all packaging, and microwave food until steaming

My entire country is in lockdown and will be for at least another 3 1/2 weeks (probably another 11 1/2+ if we’re being realistic). Absolutely everything has shut down except supermarkets and other “essential services” like particular branches of the government and healthcare services. We’re not allowed to leave the house except to go and buy essential grocery items (one person from the household is allowed to go to the store for a time limit of 30 minutes) but me and my husband aren’t risking that so we’re having groceries delivered next weekend which was the next available time slot. 
So short answer is no we’re absolutely not eating out!

We are eating out. We Clorox the bag and containers the food comes in, put the food on our own plates, toss bags/containers immediately. Wash hands. Only order hot food.

I want takeout so bad. I also live in a small town with a number of restaurants I love and want to support. But I’m pregnant and nervous and feel like it’s probably not worth the risk.

Bottom line: you should not only remove the food from it's original container, but it's a good idea to heat to streaming. Using the microwave is fine, but for instance, we ordered pizza last night, so I used my oven.
