Does your baby hold their bottle/cup?

My daughter is 9 months (as of 3/24) and doesn’t hold her bottle/cup. She feeds herself food (we are doing blw and she’s great at it) 
Whenever I try to guide her hands she pulls them away and doesn’t even attempt to hold it. My dr said it isn’t an issue until she’s 12 months but seems like that is right around the corner!

My son will feed himself his bottle during the day now. Using a sippy cup for formula is a different story though. He just wants to play with it or chew on it.

My son could if he tried however anytime I leave him with the bottle or sippy cup he flips it over and tries to chew the bottom 🤦🏼‍♀️

I voted yes but he only does it in the beginning and if I stop. He still prefers when I do

My daughter is the same. She is just lazy, she could do it if she wanted to. My son was the same way, refused to even try to hold it. He didn't start holding it till almost 12 months.

She holds it but can’t figure out how to tilt it to get the formula or water out 🤷🏽‍♀️

My daughter is exactly the same! She feeds herself at every meal she’s getting really good with a spoon now too but she won’t hold her bottle or cup! She doesn’t even try. Sometimes if she’s having her bottle I’ll put her hands on it then let go but she just drops it 😂 I think she likes me doing it! I’m happy to though 😊
