Okay so my husband and I have slacked on paying tithes. We realize it's wrong and have made it our top priority now. My question is do you go back and try to add up all you haven't paid or do you get forgiveness and move forward doing the right thing?

Just move forward. The Lord want us to give cheerfully so don't get stressed. Just give as you're able to give chick.

I struggled with this too. I was praying about it one day super worried about how much I owed for missing it. But, God stopped me and said “it’s a new day. I don’t hold your past against you.” It gave me so much peace. God doesn’t hold grudges. He created us new everyday. ❤️ Make a new start!

Me and my husband are looking to add up what we owe and pay our tithes, although just moving forward and asking for forgiveness is okay as well .. God will forgive you if you ask for it. We just personally still feel awful about not paying but you can move forward, at the end of the day it’s between you and God :)
