I’m burnt out with late bedtime
My son (20 months) used to go to sleep around 7:30/8 and would wake up around 7am. We traveled during the holidays and idk but somehow this dude is going to bed at 10 now and waking up around 9. I laid him down at 8:30 tonight because I’m just done and he is still awake at 10. I know he’s tired because he only had an hour nap (normally 3 hours) and we’ve been playing outside all day. My husband is deployed and I’m pregnant and fucking exhausted. I NEEEED a few hours to myself at night before I go to bed and I’m just not getting that now. I burnt tf out. I would rather wake up early and have time to myself at night than sleeping in or even having time in the morning. I prefer to unwind at night.
Has anyone else changed their toddlers bedtime and wake up time?? I’m considering just waking him up at 7, but I’m hesitant because when I do wake him up he gets really whiny and clingy and 😩😩 I can’t.
