Confused

So last my month my “shark week” lasted less than 24 hours and tests were negative, the last 24 or so hours I have had a creamy thick white discharge and my OB isn’t answering the phones right now. I’ve had 2 kids previously and don’t remember having this. I’m 10 days away from shark week. What could this white discharge be? Google kept saying pregnancy but I don’t feel pregnant and I’m also on birth control. Yes I know it isn’t 100% effective but I’m just curious if I should test or wait.
