Areola color can determine the fetus gender?

Elena

Ok so I just realized that in this pregnancy my areolas are super light color obviously they changed from before I was pregnant but since this is my 2nd pregnancy with my son my areolas got super dark almost dark chocolate and now that I’m pregnant again and I’m almost 13w they don’t seem to be getting darker, so it came to mind if that determines the baby’s gender? I googled it and I saw some comments saying it’s true but it’s a old wives tale.. I wanted too if anyone has experienced this? If so lmk I’m beyond excited to find out if I’ll be having a girl fingers crossed I am 🤞🏼
