To try or not to try?!

Question

Girls, I’m struggling. 
I know fertility treatments have been cancelled until further notice, but should we stop naturally trying to conceive too?
I’m 35, and we have been trying for about 8 months or so. We were seeing a specialist for a few months, so all of that has been put on hold. 
I ovulate, all tests for husband and I came back OK...should I keep trying or pump the brakes?
What are you guys doing?

My doctor said the risk to IVF or pregnancy is obviously not totally known but so far looks to be low risk. She said the cancellation of my cycle is in line with orders to stop ALL “non emergency” procedures in an effort to encourage people to stay home and free up MDs, medical supplies and spaces. Therefore she said I should continue trying naturally if I’m comfortable doing so... so I will!! Good luck!

Age is not on my side. We aren’t particularly trying but we aren’t preventing. I told my mom that my luck for the 6 years of trying, this is when I will get pregnant during a pandemic.

We’re not NOT trying. I got my period today so obvi not pregnant yet but we wouldn’t be upset if we were.

If I were in your shoes, i would keep trying. Obviously now all you can do is ovulation tests (I used Easy@home from amazon, they are cheap) and times sex but its better then nothing. 
A big part is because of age, now if you were like 25, probably would put it off. But time is no your side, and this wont last forever anyway. And a baby takes like 40 weeks to gestate. So I would continue at least naturally if I was in your shoes.

We are still trying, like you I don’t have age on my side and who knows how long this is going to last. 
I’m a stay at home mom so I wouldn’t have an trouble staying inside if I were to get pregnant, which is the best place for all of us right now.  It could take a full year maybe even longer to get pregnant, we’ve only been trying for 3 months now, with my son it only took 3 months, I’m two years older now so that kind of makes me think it could take a little bit longer. 
The only person that can decide what is best for you is, well, YOU......I guess you should consult with you’re spouse.
Maybe even give your OB a call and ask them for a recommendation.

Im in your same boat and at first I was going to stop trying but it was killing me to even think about me and my husband sat down and had a two hr conversation  bascailly putting all the cards and the table and worse case scenarios. We put all our fears on the table and decied we are going to try anyway
