Can just having a fever be a sign?

So I only have a fever but no other symptoms it’s a low grade fever as well it’s 99.6 Can having a fever and nothing else be a symptom?
Also should I take medicine for it? I know you’re supposed to stay away from advil and ibuprofen

That’s not really a fever and keep in mind that almost everyone’s temperature rises in late afternoon and evening.

That’s not actually a fever but it’s close. Don’t take Tylenol unless it gets too high. Fevers are the body’s alway of creating a hostile environment for viruses and bacteria so they’re actually good unless they get too high.

I have covid and for three days I only had a fever. It seemed to come and go. Eventually more and more symptoms started to appear. My fever still spikes in the evening for some reason.

This exact thing happened to me. I had been monitoring my temp but felt fine. It was 99.5 and so I just rested and drank a lot of water. Today I felt like I was hit by a buss and wanna throw everything up. My fever hasn’t gone past 99.6 and sometimes it goes back down to normal. But god I feel like shit
