Metformin side effects??

Question

Considering going on metformin since my dr is recommending it.  Im interested in how severe the side effects have affected others.  Please share,  thank you!

I would suggest asking for the extended release version of it. That is much kinder on the stomach/digestion.

Diabetic here. I’ve been on it pre-pregnancy, was off meds for a while because it was under control, went back on during this pregnancy. I’ve never had any side effects!

Mmmm. My experience was not fun. It didn't help anything for me and just made me very sick. It's only really worth while if your insulin is actually off.
